Inspired by the traditional art of Gzhel ceramics, this extraordinary sighthound collar was created in our Austrian workshop. The characteristic floral ornaments of Gzhel, traditionally painted in various shades of blue, have been reinterpreted as elaborate embroidery and brought to life on white leather.
From rich cobalt blue and vibrant blue to delicate light-blue accents, an intricate floral pattern unfolds across the entire visible surface of the collar. The subtle colour transitions within the embroidery give the flowers, leaves and flowing ornaments remarkable depth.
The leather colours also reflect the traditional design: white leather on the outside meets cobalt-blue leather on the inside. A carefully chosen contrast that highlights the embroidery and gives this collar its distinctive character.
Craftsmanship & Comfort
As with our high-quality leather collars, the leather has been carefully double-folded, creating smooth, neatly finished edges for comfortable wear.
With a width of 5 cm, the collar provides a generous contact area around the dog's neck. Its wide, straight design tapers towards both ends, combining the distinctive appearance of a sighthound collar with a narrower fastening section.
A high-quality stainless steel buckle completes the blue-and-white design.
