HOW DO I TAKE MY FINGERPRINT?
Step 1: Take a sheet of paper and a very soft pencil, preferably a graphite pencil or a soft lead pencil (2-5B). With the pencil held at a sharp angle, draw crisscrossing lines on the paper.
Step 2: After that, rub or stroke firmly with your finger several times over the drawn areas until your finger turns gray.
Step 3: Take a piece of Scotch tape or clear adhesive tape and place it on your fingertip. Press the tape firmly all around.
Step 4: Remove the tape from your finger and stick it onto a white, unlined sheet of paper. You will immediately be able to see your fingerprint.
Step 5: Scan the resulting fingerprint at a minimum of 300dpi (higher is even better) and send it to us by email. Alternatively, you can, of course, send the fingerprint by post, and we will do the rest. Why should you scan it and not photograph it? If you take a photo, the Scotch tape will automatically reflect, thus distorting your fingerprint.
As an alternative to a pencil, all other means are, of course, available to make the fingerprint visible, such as ink pads, fingerprint pads, makeup, etc. However, the pencil/paper version is the simplest, fastest, and most cost-effective method.
PAW or NOSE PRINT
There are 3 options for choosing a paw print, nose print, or child's footprint
1st Option
The simplest and most widespread method is the INKLESS stamp pad, which you can buy in two different sizes at the big A. You press the child's foot, the paw or the dog's nose onto a film, under which the inkpad lies. On the back, you press a sheet of 3-star paper, and it's done. You take a photo of it and upload it. This is where the print comes alive the most. With the other options, it becomes a little flatter.
To get a very nice paw print, don't press the paw too hard on the pad, otherwise it will just turn black. The same applies to the nose. In the photo I took, I pressed too lightly on the noses and a bit too hard on the paw's toes, but I can live with it.
2nd option
If you already have a paw print casting at home, you can easily proceed. Remove the casting from the frame to avoid glare from the glass. Then take a photo of this casting and upload it to us. It's that simple!
3rd possibility
Just take a photo of your darling's paw. Make sure the paw is clearly visible. If there is too much hair on the pad, please remove it beforehand. Take photos in daylight and in a straight line. The more you photograph from the side, the more distorted the result will be. As with the other options, upload the photo to the article of your choice. With our "sample", the angle is still acceptable for a meaningful end product.

For light paws, we will reject a photo! It won't be as nice as with dark paws
Please follow these guidelines carefully; only then can we work properly with your photo. Take a clear and sharp photo of your pet's paw. Ensure the paw is well-lit and free of excess hair. Avoid photographing from the side, as this can distort the image. Then upload the photo accordingly, and we'll take care of the rest!
